CW acquires Canadian skein

The CW has acquired rights to ''The L.A. Complex,'' Hollywood-set series produced by Canada's Bell Media.''Complex,'' telling the story of six ambitious stars from different hometowns, premieres the initial of six episodes Tuesday in Canada on CTV and MuchMusic and may air round the CW this spring.Linda Schuyler and Stephen Stohn professional produce ''Complex'' for Epitome Pictures. Author and professional producer Martin Gero may also be pointing.Cassie Steele, an alum of ''Degrassi: The Next Generation'' (also from Epitome), stars inside the series, with Jewel Staite (''Firefly'') also part of the ensemble.
